Acta Marine has acquired Offshore Wind Services (OWS) . The deal also includes[ds_preview] the UK subsidiary OWPMS. OWS owns ten Crew Transfer Vessels and will be renamed Acta Marine Wind Services. The daily management of the company would remain with Workships Contractors, Acta stated. The main contact persons and vessel crews would also remain unchanged. Acta Marine owns a fleet of 40 workboats. The acquisition of OWS was part of its growth strategy in the offshore wind market, the company stated. Recently, Acta Marine ordered a large offshore wind service vessel that can accommodate up to 75 persons. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for later this year.
