The contract includes delivery of Cargo Access Equipment to two 6,500 units car carriers to be built for the Norwegian owner Norwegian Car Carriers (NOCC). Delivery of the equipment from TTS Marine is scheduled to be completed by 2nd quarter 2016.

The new contract will see TTS Marine to deliver two shipsets RoRo equipment to the Korean yard for the construction of the two further PCTCs for NOCC. The present newbuildings, with a capacity of about 6,500 cars, are of similar type and arrangement as previous delivery and each vessel will have a beam of more than 32m and a total length of about 200m.

This supply contract will include delivery of Cargo Access Equipment consisting of quarter and side ramps, internal ramps, covers and doors operated by hydraulic and electric systems. The Cargo Access Equipment has a total gross weight of about 660t.

The scope of supply includes delivery of design, vital parts and supervision of installation. The vessels are due for delivery to the owner by October, 2016 and January 2017, respectively. For TTS Marine in Gothenburg this contract means a continuation of the business relations with Hyundai Heavy Industries as well as with the Norwegian owner NOCC.

The above contract further emphasises the TTS position as a supplier of Cargo Access Equipment to the marine industry in general and to the RoRo and car carrier operators in particular, such as Eukor, Glovis, Höegh Autoliners, Ray Car Carriers, UECC and Wallenius/Wilhelmsen, to their new buildings worldwide.
