International maritime risk management solutions company, HudsonAnalytix, celebrates its 30th year in business in 2016, and recently marked the occasion in tandem with another accomplishment. The company has been accepted by the Green Award Foundation as its first United States-based »Incentive Provider«
Headquartered in Philadelphia, NJ, HudsonAnalytix is an enterprise risk products and solutions business providing support to maritime transportation interests, ports[ds_preview] and terminals, energy companies, ship owners and operators, governments and insurers. The firm’s areas of capability lie within environmental, safety, security, cyber risk, claims management, management systems development and improvement, and operational project management. Founded in 1986 by Chief Executive Officer Cynthia A. Hudson, the company originally provided emergency response, maritime project management and maritime consulting services, and over the years has responded to hundreds of marine casualties, including oil spills, groundings and other port state control incidents.

Post 9/11, the firm, with a growing management team seasoned in international shipping, was at the forefront of ISPS Code compliance, having supported a vast cross section of ship owners and operators, terminal managers, and port authorities to gain and maintain suitable security management compliance and operational efficiencies.

In 2003, HudsonTrident, the security risk management division of HudsonAnalytix, was selected as maritime consultant for a major US Port Security Assessment project during which numerous US ports were analyzed. Subsequently, HudsonAnalytix conducted assessments of over 300 ports worldwide. As the decade continued, HudsonSystems was also founded to provide management systems development and improvement services and software products, particularly targeted at the tanker sector. Later in 2009, HudsonTactix was founded, through the strategic acquisition of a successful 25 year old marine claims company, to assist ship owners and their insurers with the ever increasing cost of marine insurance claims within the US markets. HudsonSystems has since expanded its activities into support for dry cargo shipping interests as well.

Now with offices in four countries, and experience working with a diverse range of international organizations, HudsonAnalytix has experienced a transformation into an integrated international enterprise risk products and solutions business with capabilities within environmental, safety, security, cyber risk, claims management, management systems development and improvement, and operational project management. The most recent new business area has seen the establishment of a cyber security risk program for the commercial shipping sector.

Chief Executive Officer Cynthia A. Hudson reflected, »In its 30 year evolution, HudsonAnalytix has grown into a full service international maritime transportation management consultant firm with a respected and recognized team of exceptionally experienced professionals. With our most recent accomplishment, we are proud to promote best industry practices by becoming the first Green Award Incentive Provider in the United States of America.
