Klaus Rud Sejling, current Head of East West Trades in Maersk Line, has been appointed CEO of Damco with effect from 1 October. Current Damco CEO, Hanne B. Sørensen, has decided to leave the Maersk Group.
Klaus Rud Sejling joined the Group in 1997. Most recently, he has been Head of Group Strategy and COO and CCO of Maersk Tankers, before he joined Maersk Line as Head of East West Trades in 2014.
Hanne B. Sørensen took over as CEO of Damco in January 2014 coming from a position as CEO for Maersk Tankers from 2012 to 2014.
