Leif-Arne Langøy retires from the board of Farstad Shipping

Leif-Arne Langøy has stepped back from the board of Farstad Shipping. The withdrawal of him took place in consultation with the board and its legal counsel.

Langøy has been excused from the board‘s handling of Farstad Shipping‘s refinancing process since summer 2[ds_preview]016. As the refinancing process continues he is unable to serve as a board member in Farstad Shipping the company stated. Langøy has therefore retired from the board of the company, effective from today Farstad Shipping stated. According to the company it will continue its refinancing efforts in cooperation with its key stakeholders as communicated to the market.

Farstad Shipping has 55 vessels in its fleet

Farstad Shipping‘s fleet currently consists of 55 vessels (27 AHTS, 22 PSV and 6 Subsea). One Subsea vessel is currently under construction. The company‘s operations are managed from Aalesund, Melbourne, Perth, Singapore, Macaé and Rio de Janeiro with a total of 1,725 employees engaged onshore and offshore.
