Global Renewable Shipbrokers (GRS) and Off-Shore Wind Solutions (OWS) have developed and arranged the sale of the DP2 Walk-to-Work Vessel »Ocean Zephyr«. Buyer is the Danish based company A1 Offshore Solutions.
The delivery took place on the 24 th of March 2017 in Emden and the v[ds_preview]essel will continue a charter for a German Wind Farm under its well-known name »Ocean Zephyr«. It is the first DP2 Walk-to-Work Vessel in the fleet of A1 Offshore Solutions.
According to own information OWS has been very happy with the proceedings of the sale and with the performance of GRS as well as with the buyers.
It was said that GRS has already booked the »Ocean Zephyr« in a long term charter for A1. During the next five years (summer season) the vessel and its permanently installed Ampelmann A Type will also be made available to other interested charterers. During winter, spring and autumn she will be based in Emden, fully mobilized and promptly available for any short or long term Offshore Walk-to-Work enquiries.
