InterManager expands membership

International ship management association InterManager expands its membership with the first ship registry joining the community.

Secretary-General Kuba Szymanski today welcomed the Republic of the Marshall Islands Ship Registry as well as the companies ARC and SC Innovation at I[ds_preview]nterManager. »Our mandate to our members is clear and it is this support and collaboration that has caused our membership to grow. As we welcome our first ship registry member it is a reminder that by working as a multi-sector Association, together we can ensure a rich sustainable industry for generations to come. We look forward to working closely with our three new members.«

John Ramage, Chief Operating Officer of International Registries, which provides administrative and technical support to the Republic of the Marshall Islands maritime and corporate registries, said: »We are delighted to be part of this quality ship manager’s trade association. As the Marshall Islands Registry grows in popularity as a ship registry, we want to forge a closer relationship with InterManager and its members. We look forward to working together on issues which affect our members and the maritime industry more widely.«

Looking forward to future involvement, Max Williams, Fleet Operations Director, Africa Risk Compliance added: »At a time of global high security alert, maritime security intelligence is crucial. By working with organisations to keep clients well-briefed, we are building a robust network. Joining InterManager will allow us to share expertise with ship managers and to build a sustainable network to ensure the industry is safe.«
