Management shake-up at Danish IT company Logimatic: Lars Francke Riisberg was appointed as CEO, his predecessor will be acting as COO. 

The plan is to strengthen the management with new leadership, Logimatic states in a release. »We have ambitious plans for the future, especially[ds_preview] concerning our Sertica product. Therefore, we have decided on the Board of Directors to exploit the potential further by strengthening the management by appointing a person with international experience and solid knowledge of our products and markets,« said Troels Severinsen, Managing Director of Logimatic Holding.

New in the position as CEO is Lars Francke Riisberg (53), who for a period of years has been part of the Board of Directors in Logimatic Solutions. »Since the beginning of 1989, Lars has assisted in the development of the software we know today as Sertica. So, it is natural for him to continue the task – now with another focus and an ambitious growth strategy for the global spread of Sertica«, it was added.

The Sertica software is designed for maintenance, purchasing and compliance management – according to Logimatic it is used by more than 150 customers, including shipping companies, power plants, utility companies, breweries and industrial companies worldwide.

Paarup continues as COO

The former CEO has to step back from his position: Michael Paarup, will continue as Vice Director/COO and with Lars on board, Michael will focus on the company’s current customers, internal processes, innovation and further development of the Renomatic and FotoDok products, which are designed for waste management and photo documentation respetively.

Paarup is cited as »look forward to the co-operation with Lars Francke Riisberg« and states, »I have known Lars for many years, and I know we have a mutual respect for each other’s strengths. During these years, a lot of exciting things are happening in the company, and I am certain that Lars will help Logimatic reach further on the world map.« He added that he seea the appointment of Lars Riisberg »a natural strengthening of the management.«
