GTT has signed a 5-year Master Service Agreement with Chevron Transport Corporation. The company will support Chevron’s maintenance and operation of ten LNG Carriers equipped with GTT‘s Mark III and NO96 technologies.

The agreement includes GTT on-site technical assistance for in[ds_preview]spection, maintenance and repairs, provision of TAMITM (Thermal Assessment of Membrane Integrity) tests, GTT support in training and workshops with Chevron crews and superintendents, as well as access to the HEARS hotline. The intention of this emergency hotline is that ship-owners and their crews can contact GTT‘s experts 24 hours a day seven days a week to respond to operational queries. HEARS experts are ready to provide operational solutions under different operating and emergency scenarios, using the extensive and continuously updated GTT vessel database the company stated.

For several years, GTT has enlarged its range of services to support the operations of LNGCs, FLNGs, FSRUs and other LNG-related structures in order to shorten dry-dock time, assist crews and assure operational efficiency, and is now accelerating its »Smart shipping« solutions development with the recent acquisition of Ascenz.
