Only two years ago, MAC Hamburg was founded to deliver the HVAC system for all cruise ships and projects within[ds_preview] the Meyer yards – this includes consultancy, engineering, procurement and production until ship delivery. The HVAC plant is well known to keep the passengers’ comfort constant but it is also a safety relevant system. By optimizing the systems and developing innovative components, the energy consumption and space requirement will be reduced in the future, but MAC takes also care of a maintenance friendly configuration. In April 2018 MAC Hamburg and Meyer will hand over their first turnkey system to the customer of »Norwegian Bliss«, this is the start for a major ramp up to deliver HVAC systems for three ships per year from Meyer Werft and two ships per year from Meyer Turku.

MAC Hamburg has a team of more than 140 employees active in various disciplines and is the HVAC competence center within Meyer group. The orderbook is full up to 2024 to built huge and complex cruise ships.
