DNV GL has been awarded the contract to classify the passenger ship »Sea Cloud Spirit« built by Metalships & Docks in[ds_preview] Vigo (Spain). The ship, which was commissioned by Hamburg-based shipping company Sea Cloud Cruises, is designed to meet the growing demand from both independent travellers and the charter market, particularly in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. The three-mast ship »Sea Cloud Spirit« will be 138m long and will have 69 outside cabins, including 25 with balconies. The planning office Partner Ship Design from Hamburg is responsible for the design of the ship›s interior. The »Sea Cloud Spirit« is to set the sails in summer 2020.
