The Finnish technology group Wärtsilä is supplying a comprehensive package for two new ferries to be built in China. These[ds_preview] are the ships the Onorato Group hasordered for Moby shipping company. According to an anouncement, it is a »major order« for the Finns, which was signed in October. The components will be installed in two new ro-pax ferries to be built at the Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) shipyard in China. The delivery includes four »Wärtsilä 46« main engines, four »Wärtsilä 20« auxiliary engines and two hybrid V-SOx scrubber systems per ship. The total order value amounts to around 30mill. €. The two new 2,500 passenger ferries will replace four existing RoPax vessels.
