Sharing approved

The United States Federal Maritime Comission (FMC) has approved the vessel sharing[ds_preview] and slot charter agreement between Hanjin and Ocean Three. It is based on a 2009 agreement between UASC and Hanjin with some limited port and carrier adjustments not involving service under the authority of the Ocean Three Agreement.

The port rotation of New York, Norfolk and Savannah now includes Miami. Other new international ports added include Mundra and Livorno, Tangier will replace Algeciras. The agreement contains no limitations on the parties’ ability to introduce additional capacity or provide transportation on other vessels in the trade.
