Delivery of HVAC equipment for Canadian Navy

Bronswerk Group, a provider of complete heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration[ds_preview] solutions (HVAC-R) for the merchant marine, military and offshore industries, has announced the delivery of the last pieces of equipment for the Royal Canadian Navy’s first two Arctic and Offshore Patrol Ships (AOPS). The vessels are being built by Irving Shipbuilding at the Halifax Ship­yard. The first, »HMCS Harry DeWolf«, is scheduled for delivery in 2018. Bronswerk was awarded a 34mill. € contract by Irving Shipbuilding to supply AOPS with marine-grade HVAC-R as part of Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS).

Bronswerk is currently the third-highest value supplier to Irving Shipbuilding under NSS. The shipyard is constructing six ice-capable AOPS for the Royal Canadian Navy which will be capable of sovereignty patrols, maritime domain awareness, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, and counter-terrorist operations.
