GEORG DUNCKER GmbH & Co. KG, one of the world’s leading providers of marine insurance brokerage and associated services, is pleased to announce the opening of a branch office in Rotterdam, Netherlands, overseeing the Benelux area.
The appointment of Hans Liem last year was the foundation to further formalize the presence of GEORG DUNCKER within the Benelux area.
The office will be managed by two well-known executives of the marine insurance industry, Mr Hans Liem as Director Benelux and Mr Willem-Jan van Eijsden as Head of Marine Benelux. Prior to joining GEORG DUNCKER, Hans Liem was the CEO of JLT Netherlands. Mr Willem-Jan van Eijsden previously held various senior positions with Dutch P&I and lastly with the Noord Nederlandsche P&I Club (NNPC).
