CargoMax, one of the world‘s pre–mier loading analysis instruments, has set the standards for shipboard stability and load management software for over 30 years. This system, which is type approved by major classification societies, helps to maxi-mize cargo utilization, simplify regulatory compliance, monitor margins of safety during cargo operations and improve safety by reducing human error. Already boasting a robust suite of features, the newly released CargoMax 2.1 includes calculation enhancements for load discharge rate monitoring, advanced load/discharge/ballast water exchange sequencing and advanced bulk pile features. Additionally, a fully rendered 3-D graphical display shows tank and cargo fillings, vessel attitude and is fully interactive with pan, zoom, rotate and customizable cutting planes. A trim optimization tool also has been added and is fully integrated. This powerful, easy-to-use solution takes into account the regulatory aspects under which the vessel operates.
