Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) reported a 777 mill. $ operating profit[ds_preview] for H1 2016, attributed to restructuring and strong performances of its refining subsidiary. According to a regulatory filing in April-June period HHI racked up 9.8627 tn Korean won (8.690 bn $) in sales while operating income stood at 557.2 bn won (491 mill. $), bringing accumulated sales and operating profits for H1 to 17.7 bn $ and 777 mill. $ respectively.
