My Fuel Consumption (MFC) from Bureau Veritas guides owners through the regulatory requirements of IMO’s data collection system (DCS) and[ds_preview] EU monitoring reporting and verification (MRV) requirements. The latest phase of MFC released now enables easy reporting of fuel consumption and/or CO2 emissions data with the IMO and EU schemes – with no double booking. Available to owners and managers of both BV and non-BV classed ships, My Fuel Consumption is a secure cloud based web application available on desktop, mobile and tablet. Free of charge it is available on VeriStar, the Bureau Veritas client portal. All that is required is a contract for IMO DCS or MRV services provided by BV. MFC ensures that vessel fuel consumption data is automatically registered for the different schemes. Automatic calculations based on entered data inputs create reports in the required formats for each reporting scheme.
