The maritime world gathers in Istanbul

From 4–6 November 2026, Europort Istanbul once again opens its doors at the Yenikapı Expo Center, bringing together Turkish and international shipbuilders, shipping companies, maritime authorities, equipment suppliers, technology providers and service companies. Located at the crossroads of continents, cultures and seas, Istanbul offers a natural meeting point for the global maritime industry.

This year, Europort Istanbul is set to welcome 300 exhibiting companies from more than 30 countries, together with an expected 7,000 maritime professionals.

The international character of the event is reflected throughout the exhibition floor. Alongside strong participation from the Turkish maritime industry, the 2026 edition welcomes 64 individual international exhibitors from various countries, as well as dedicated pavilions from the Netherlands, China and Poland.

For the first time, Europort Istanbul will also host an Africa Pavilion, further expanding the event’s international reach. Organised by Blue Ocean International, the pavilion aims to put the spotlight on strategically selected maritime markets including Cameroon, Nigeria, Kenya, Benin and Côte d’Ivoire, where investments in ports, logistics, offshore activities and the blue economy are creating new opportunities for international technology, expertise and partnerships.

Celebrating the strength of the Turkish maritime industry

Europort Istanbul combines this international participation with direct access to one of the region’s strongest maritime markets. Türkiye has established itself as an important international shipbuilding and seafaring nation, with a diverse maritime cluster spanning newbuilding, ship repair, conversion, maintenance and naval projects.

With more than 85 active shipyards across Türkiye, the country offers a substantial market for maritime equipment, technology and services. Turkish shipyards continue to strengthen their international position and demonstrate growing capabilities across a wide range of vessel types and maritime projects. Europort Istanbul creates the platform where this strong Turkish maritime ecosystem meets international suppliers, technology providers, shipowners and industry professionals.

For international companies, this means the opportunity to connect directly with Turkish shipyards and decision-makers, while also meeting partners from across Europe, Asia, Africa and other maritime regions.

More than an exhibition

Alongside the exhibition floor, Europort Istanbul offers an international programme focused on knowledge exchange, cooperation and new business connections.

The BlueBridge Maritime Istanbul Forum is a two-day conference exploring the technologies and trends shaping the future of maritime. Topics include AI, digital twins, autonomous shipping, smart ports, cybersecurity, alternative fuels, voyage optimisation and the economics of green shipping.

Visitors and exhibitors can also take part in MariMatch Europort, the international B2B matchmaking event organised by Enterprise Europe Network. MariMatch brings together companies and institutions from Türkiye and abroad for targeted one-to-one meetings, creating opportunities for technology partnerships, international cooperation and new business.

Whether you are looking for new technologies, suppliers, shipbuilding expertise, market insights or international business opportunities, Europort Istanbul brings these elements together in one place.

With  300 exhibitors from 30+ countries, international country pavilions, a strong Turkish shipbuilding market and a dedicated conference and matchmaking programme, Europort Istanbul offers three days to discover new solutions and build valuable connections across the global maritime industry.
