The navigation system manufacturer Raytheon Anschütz and the marine automation provider Seastema have recently entered a frame agreement on the[ds_preview] supply of sophisticated bridge systems to mega yachts. With the upcoming delivery of an advanced integrated bridge and navigation system the agreement is now operative. Raytheon Anschütz will provide bridge and navigation systems from its Synapsis Bridge Control series integrated through an Ethernet network with the Seastema ship automation system in one package. Furthermore, Raytheon Anschütz was selected as the supplier of the integrated navigation system (INS) to new Limited Editions Amels 199. Amels is currently constructing the first ship in its Vlissingen shipyard in Holland. The Dutch system integrator Alewijnse Marine Systems B.V. is responsible for the complete electrical system design and outfitting of the Amels 199. Based on a cooperation agreement Alewijnse teams with Raytheon Anschütz and integrates the INS as seamless part of their larger electrical systems onboard. The navigation systems supplied are of the new Synapsis Bridge Control series.
