At the Annual Meeting of the Members Cliffe F. Laborde of Laborde Marine Management was elected as a Director of[ds_preview] the American Club for the forthcoming twelve month period. It was also noted the retirement of Calvin W.S. Cheng of Eastmark Associates as well as Paul Sa of Standard Shipping, who had been Chairman between 1997 and 2007. At the Annual Meeting of the Club’s Directors, J. Arnold Witte of Donjon Marine Co. and Markos Marinakis of Marinakis Chartering were re-elected as, respectively, Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Club.
