Global operating supplier Norwegian Deck Machinery (NDM) announced a new contract with Kleven Verft for supply of deck machinery to[ds_preview] their »NB 378«, an IMR vessel for Olympic Shipping of MT 6021 MK II design. The MT 6021 MK II design is a further development of the MT 6021 design, of which Kleven Verft is building a vessel for Olympic with delivery in March 2015. NDM supplies the deck machinery for this vessel also. The NDM deck machinery for the new ship includes two electrical, frequency controlled, driven combined windlass/mooring winches. Furthermore, two off chain stoppers, two off capstans which are hydraulic driven and one off HPU for capstans are included in the contract. The MKII vessel is equipped with an offshore crane, ROV hangars, and with accommodation for 80 personnel. Kleven says it now has 13 vessels in its orderbook.
