Nord/LB will finance the construction of a new cruise ship for cruise line Silversea. The 40,000t »Silver Muse« is[ds_preview] built by Fincantieri in Trieste. The luxury cruise ship have a length of 213m and an engine output of nearly 20,000 hp. The completion of the vessel is scheduled for spring 2017. The total financing volume for the construction is 293.5mill. $ (270mill. €) and will be provided jointly by Nord/LB, BNP Paribas, Unicredit and the KfW Ipex-Bank. The financing share of Nord/LB is around 73mill. $. The export credit agency SACE assumes a default guarantee for the entire financing term, which reduces the risks for the financing banks.
