Dutch automation and electronics specialist RH Marine broadens it‘s network by opening a new office in Barcelona.
The company announced the decision was made to meet growing demand for refitting and servicing yachts sailing in the Mediterranean. »With the market for yacht refit p[ds_preview]rojects growing substantially, RH Marine has acquired a large installed base offering service, upgrade, refit and rebuild expertise for electrical and automation systems, including the bridge navigation and communication devices«, it was said. Due to this demand, RH Marine had outgrown its current location in Barcelona.
The office is located at the premises of Shipyard MB92, centrally located in the vicinity of important marinas such as Port Vell in Barcelona, Vilanova Grand Marina in Vilanova i la Geltrú and Port Tarraco in Tarragona.
Ronald Docters van Leeuwen, RH Marine Sales Manager Service & Refits said: »With the addition of our new office in Barcelona we will be able to optimise the support and service offered to our customers. Additionally with our own warehouse, we will be able to guarantee a quick response time.«
Currently there are 10 service engineers employed at RH Marine Barcelona to engineer, service, upgrade, refit or rebuild a wide range of systems including; customised integrated bridges, alarm monitoring and control systems, integrated power management systems/power distribution, AC and DC switchgear, propulsion control, LED lighting, hydraulics automation, fire detection, shore converters, CCTV, navigation and communication and audio visual/entertainment & IT systems.
Today, RH Marine is also represented with service and refit locations in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach in the USA and in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
