The working group Deutsche Yachten (German Yachts) within Deutscher Boots- und Schiffbauer-Verband was founded by 15 enterprises ten years[ds_preview] ago. In the meantime this group is well established and well recognized in Germany as well as abroad. It now comprises 64 members.

»Made in Germany« has been a synonym for quality, technical perfection, functionality and reliability and to these values the members of the working group »Deutsche Yachten« feel committed. The realization that these values can only be achieved by a team originally initiated the group’s foundation. Co-operation, knowledge transfer as well as sharing ideas and team spirit are the features by means of which the enterprises meet the big technical challenges that characterize the construction of a super yacht. These features are cultivated and further developed and they represent a major reason why Germany ranks among the leading nations in building large yachts. The group’s members are united in the aim to find perfect solutions not only regarding the whole but the detail likewise, and they take pride in this. The result are yachts »made in Germany«.

Despite difficult times the development in Germany has not come to a stop as many interesting projects currently under construction show. The trade fairs of the yacht business are important marketing tools for spreading these news. Thus »Deutsche Yachten« participates in several international trade fairs. In joint pavilions of up to 600 m2 size its members exhibit under a corporate booth design. In addition to the business component the social aspect is covered by booth parties which are rather popular among the exhibitors in terms of both networking and paving the way for new business.

During the trade fairs the business part B2B plays the major role for the »Deutsche Yachten« working group members since their motto runs as follows: Here experts co-operate with experts. What results are excellents products and solutions for yacht construction.

This year, »Deutsche Yachten« will participate in the Monaco Yacht Show for the tenth time.
