Classification society ClassNK has opened new exclusive survey offices Izmir and Mersin, both in Turkey, with operations beginning 1 January 2017.
Izmir and Mersin are two of the best-known port cities in Turkey, the Japanese company explains the move.
In recent years, the num[ds_preview]ber of surveys and audits required in western and southern Turkey including both two cities has been increasing. Through the opening of its latest offices, ClassNK aims to improve the efficiency of its ship surveys and audits along the southwestern part of Turkey.
The classification society says it will continue to expand its survey offices worldwide in order to meet its clients’ requests and provide timely and high quality services.
