Ibrahim Ergin has resigned as Works[ds_preview] Council Chairman after a long legal dispute with the shipyard’s management. Ergin will join the labour union association DGB Niedersachsen as secretary. With the settlement reached at the employment appeals tribunal Lower Saxony, the decision was made final. The resignation was a mutual decision between shipyard, works council and Ergin himself.
