Terex Port Solutions (TPS) has supplied three Maritime Terex Gottwald Model 6 mobile harbour cranes to industry group Ership. They are used for bulk handling in different Spanish ports. A fourth machine will follow in December 2016.
According to Terex Port Solutions (TPS) the fou[ds_preview]r G HMK 6407 B cranes feature 50-t grab curves, maximum lifting capacities of 100 t, up to 51 m outreach and maximum lifting speeds of 110 m/min. They should provide higher performance and reliability compared to the Terex Gottwald Generation 4 cranes previously supplied. They should also help to increase the handling rates in the long term.
Cranes are used in different Spanish ports
The new cranes should help Ership to handle mainly grain, cereals and copper concentrate in different ports over Spain. Each crane is adapted to the particular needs and conditions of the respective terminal the manufacturer stated.
